silent corollary: proper attitude toward the 'hip' i'm truly sorry to say is merely one of mild pity. men don't 'school' only fish do. we will indulge the terminally (arrested) hip out of pure decorum.
silent corollary two: could be true hipness is merely a carefree spirit
ie., being yourself in the particular. viv a vis the old beach boy lyric "i am a cork on the ocean".
silent corollary three: could be true hipness is just a light breeze of cool - (je'ne'sais'quoi).
